Loc-N-Load™ Docking Rail
To choose the right docking rail length, consider the dimensions of the X & Y axis of the CMM work envelope. We recommend fixturing up the longest axis, however you have the option to install the docking rail anywhere on the granite. At Phillips Precision, we have a dock on the X and Y axis for a multitude of set ups
Loc-N-Load™ Fixture Plate
Choose plates per the size of your parts not the size of the granite. Not only is this most cost effective, but also allows you to build fixtures offline while running inspections on others. Set up multiple, palletized fixtures to support production throughout the day and even lights out inspection. For very large parts, span the granite and fixture on plates at either end of the work envelope. Covering the entire granite is never necessary.
